Terms & Cancellation Policy

These terms apply to every snorkeling trip sold by PT KAY FAMILY GROUP BALI ("we", "the operator"), trading as Manta Snorkeling Penida, based at Banjar Nyuh Harbour, Ped, Nusa Penida, Bali, Indonesia.

Booking and payment

• Bookings are made on WhatsApp (+62 877-9285-5999), by email or through the booking form on this website. A booking is confirmed when we reply with your date, trip and meeting time.
• No deposit is required. Payment is made on the day of the trip in Indonesian Rupiah cash, bank transfer or QRIS.
• Prices are per person unless stated otherwise and include boat, guide, snorkeling equipment, life jacket, drinking water and marine park fee. Hotel transfers are optional and charged per car.

Cancellation by you

• Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure.
• Cancellations less than 24 hours before departure, or no-shows, are charged in full.
• Changes of date are free subject to availability.

Cancellation by us (weather and safety)

• If the harbour master closes the site, or the crew judges the sea unsafe, you may choose a calmer alternative site, a new date, or a full refund.
• Weather decisions are made on the morning of the trip and communicated on WhatsApp.

Participation

• Minimum age is 10 years.
• Life jackets are compulsory for all guests. All snorkeling is from the surface.
• Guests must tell us about medical conditions that could affect their safety in the water, and must follow the guide's instructions and the manta interaction code (no touching, no chasing, no blocking).
• Manta rays and all marine life are wild. Sightings cannot be guaranteed and no refund is due for a sighting that did not happen.

Liability

The operator is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings, for missed fast boats or flights, or for a sighting that did not happen. Guests participate at their own risk and are advised to hold travel insurance covering water activities.
